A number of my images usually come with "side" story.
Some funny, some not, but they often describe some circumstance surrounding the capture.
The "side story" on this is more a visual one.
Imagine me trying to shoot the lady whilst at the same time trying to include the background graphic "nervous breakdown".
Now you might picture me crouched behind her, appearing to be fulling concentrating on photographing her rear-end!
Well, that's what her companion thought.
And certainly made a point of telling how rude I was!

Now, John,

Could you imagine actually asking either one of them for permission to take the picture? I've asked permission of a person in an art museum, (where pictures are frowned upon, actually, forbidden), and have them pose near the picture or stay as they were, contemplating the picture, to make a particular composition.

In these cases, one doesn't want to be fighting with two forces at the same time, the subject and the museum guards!
