My passion is ice hockey, as you can tell by Posters link on my site. I do most of the bigger events in Cal. HS Football I shoot on spec. I would love to shoot pro football and hockey, but the BS of getting a gig is crazy. Its all about who you know, not how good you are. The NHL, NFL and MLB have given all the business to the big agencies. I just dont know the politics of it all. I know I would kick butt if given the chance. The probelm I see is there are so many shooters willing to work for nothing. I make good money doing what I do, so I never went after it in a serious way. I have a passion for football as my father was HS coach for 35 years back home in Buffalo NY. I have been out here since 83'.
I would like to shot the reenactment, but I am out of town, thanks for the offer. I do like your work as well. Especially the tin styles. Somewhere in my exteneded family, there is a tin of a soldier at gettysburg. I wish I had it now.
