James,

An extraordinarily clean architectural composition. Is there a story behind how you cam to take htis picture? The shadow on the lower left is an added bonus. The man on the upper right has a distinguishing stance. One seems to have a lot of time to wonder what the the fellow on the left had on his mind!

Much appreciated Asher. Essentially, I was out wandering around looking for photo ops and I was attracted by the light when the scene presented itself. I was moving up an escalator when I made the image. I composed the subjects in my viewfinder and waited until the first subject got to the bottom of the escalator. He then turned around to say something to his buddies and I pressed the shutter. Not to sound cocky but to quote H.C.B. - aim well, shoot fast and scram. I took two shots and hopefully the one below will give a better idea on how this transpired.

James, simple and effective lines define this excellent image.

I like the lightness of the photo.

Best.

Thank you for your feedback Fahim! Yes diagonal lines are strong .

Hi James,

The light, that's my main driving force as well. I also like the colors a lot.

Cheers,
Bart

Thank you Bart! I agree that the light does play a key role, although the person turning around at the bottom of the escalator brings the image together by keeping the eye in the image. IMHO.
