Rich, I love the first pic. contrast in yellow. the whole picture says ' rain '. the grain as I move towards the truck is lovely. I do not know if the umbrellas was kept soft on purpose, but works with me.

pic #2, does not do it for me. it seems to me to be obviously unreal. did you use any filter/cross-process?
I would love to see it in bw.

I like the second shot..

It shows the tired,almost angry look,that many New Yorkers have ,a very true to life shot.

Did you take this shot around rush hour??.

Times Square is a hard location to photgraph...the lights can be blinding .. lots of neon...extremely bright one second..then almost black the next
