You have to cross the path of the people...
Seems to work pretty well with a Leica though....

Honestly though, I am convinced that the camera or the lens does not matter. Specific photograph might need specific camera/lens combinations.
But for 95% of my needs, anything would/should do. Where I might need specific combo is for throwing the background out of focus. That too I can handle in software!!
