Jaime Roberts: Osprey

Great image, Jaime, with the Osprey's typical 'fierce' expression wonderfully captured.

Trying to come up with something to critique, the darker/shadow areas look a little too dark on my monitor, but this is a small point.

But where is the Grizzly lurking? Can't quite make him out! :)
Seriously, though, where was this taken? Do Ospreys make it up to Alaska?

This was taken about 10 minutes from our home in Lincoln, MT - I actually took it last May, but just got around to looking at it last night..

We are planning another 3 week trip to AK for the bears in the summer - so everyone be fore warned!

Terrific image Jaime. The OOF BG makes the osprey appear almost 3D. One of these days I'll have to swing by and check out the wildlife in Lincoln.
