I spent last week in Yorkshire with my son and daughter-in-law who were over from Seattle with my first grandson.

I'm posting these images here as they aren't formal portraits, just quickly grabbed 'snapshots'.

Owen wasn't too sure about this strange old man who said he was his granddad.

But after a tickle with a hairy chin he cheered up and decided to count his teeth.

Lost in thought while he waits for breakfast to be served.

I think he's beautiful, but then all grandchildren are :)

Hello Stuart

I'm sure you must be very proud, he certainly is a lovely little lad. I think the last one is best, waiting for his breakfast, he looks a bit sleepy still....

Hope you enjoyed yourselves up here, where did you go?

Hi Jan,

We stayed in Grinton, near Reeth, where Arkengarthdale meets Swaledale.
Excellent food in the Bridge Inn and perfect weather for the whole week. I packed warm clothing and waterproofs, but forgot the sun-hat............

Regards,

Stuart
