This is a remarkable picture with the bright red and wisps of white inside the flower. What is that? Is that pollen, an insect web or what?

Also, you asymmetry is distinctive, to say the least! Not even a sliver on the right to relieve it. I wonder if there is more interest in the structure hidden in the OOF bokeh on the left. It might be that bringing that out with an S curve, just for that and no touching the flower, could provide more balance.

As it is, it's fine, so that's just be fantasy working!

Technically, it's not a flower - so I don't think that's pollen. I'm guessing the wisps of white are hairy fibers, sort like peach fuzz, catching the light.

But the Castilleja linariaefolia is the State Flower of Wyoming. So paint brush blooms must be a flowers, LOL!
