Hi, Antonio,

Lovely shot, and a lovely metadata "poster".

I have recently become a Panasonic fan, and am currently using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 (integrated "superzoom" lens, " 1 inch" sensor) for what passes for my serious photographic work.

But I am fascinated by the Panasonic interchangeable lens cameras, such as the GX7, and in the Micro Four Thirds system, which I believe will do for digital photography what the "Kleinbild" (full-frame 35-mm) format did decades ago (that is, about the time I was born) for film photography.

As you know, I am a big fan of EVFs. How do you find the EVF in the GX7 to be? Some reviews are critical of its "field sequential" approach to color presentation, which is said to lead to "rainbow tearing" when the scene is moving in the finder.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Doug

Very abstract expression! The composition sits perfectly in the frame. I like the use of color certainly brings the whole into a charitable essence for the observer. Well done.

Thank you for all the comments.
I was expecting some but I have not been noticed of them in my e-mail.
So, I had to come here to see if there was anything.
This small problem aside I will drop some lines about this photograph.
-
On the other side of Setubal's river - Sado - is a peninsula where you can find a turistic complex with hotels, restaurants and holiday houses. The beaches are in one side to the river and to the ocean on the other side. The area is a little windy and may become cloudy even in Sunday mornings.
My daughter and my grand-son were spending the week-end there and my wife and myself we decided to meet for lunch and spend the afternoon together.
This photograph was done near the pool in the afternoon when shadow was already there.
I walked around to find something to photograph, trying to find lines and curves. I even shot the water falling from the pool it's ripples and reflections.

I had only the GX7 and the 12-40 zoom so I could be light and versatile on the boat.

@ Doug - I found the GX7 to be very practical to use.
However, I have been having some difficulties customizing the 2 available buttons as one option leads to another and another making me to be confused.
I have thought I would buy an e-book about customization of the camera but I have not decided it yet.
I do like touch screen very much. I do not find any issue on the EVF. Perhaps it is just me who can't see the problem...

Did you read about the GX80 / GX7 Mark II without the High Pass filter ?

Side note - This week I had the opportunity to use an Oly OM-D EM5 II which is one of the competitors of the GX7. I found the Pana to be more pleasant to use and not so heavy with the same lens. I found the menus to be well organized in sections and sub-sections.

I have the Pana GX7 but I have Olympus lenses ;) and two Zeiss Pana primes !!! Superb ! Heavy !!!

@ Thank you Maggie ! :)

@ Thank you Charlotte ! :)

It is not a phenomenon that visits everybody!

No, I had not been previously aware of that machine. It looks very interesting!

Thanks.
