This says so much. Joy and a box of food, perhaps!

I would love to make her President of a giant Arab Republic with full dictatorial powers and a massive army of devoted women followers.

Only women would be allowed to drive for the next 5 years and all women would have the opportunity to climb mountains. Only women could be judges. Men would be able to swear once a week, in a very dark room set up for that purpose, but otherwise have to listen to the women!

There would be peace and prosperity and no one would go to sleep hungry and no child would be left behind.

I would trust her 100%

Slightly off topic, however I think the theme of this thread is maintained.

Recently one of the junior classes in a school were asked to write an essay. The 5/10 best essays would be displayed on the board; and the best one would take center place.

The topic given was.." Those who inspired the world ".

My granddaughter belongs to the class. The essays were posted on the board..

Guess which one belongs to my granddaughter?

As to grandmothers, is there ever a case that a grandmother did not feed her grandchildren? That's why we need really kind grandmothers, (not Wall Street-financed and bought career politicians, who are grandmothers on the side) to deal with matters of state.

Most traveler's stay in Lima, Peru to acclimatize to the height before traveling here.

Most medical issues are related to altitude, frost bite and simple physical exhaustion.

7 countries is a bit of an exaggeration!!

The Eastern block countries with ' xxxtan '. Bordering Mongolia ( a country we might visit ).
Several countries on the western seaboard and center of Africa. We choose to skip those purposely.

Micronesia...

The thin strip between Mexico and Surinam..near Brazil.

2 countries we cannot visit. You know them, of course. And one we shall not visit...N. Korea...don't want to.

Antartica ( call it a country or a continent ).

That's the lot. Below Mexico, we might take a swing this summer when we are in the States this summer.
But wonder if it would be That different!!

Antartica..we are looking for an opening on the research ships..and collecting some change!!

It is wondrous (and certainly apt) to see Grandma Ayesha recognized in this pantheon with the likes of (Edmund) Hillary, Amundsen, Armstrong and Cousteau.
