modern kitchen design..

The principles of the greek philosophers, mathematicians, thinkers passed down to us throughout

history have been incorporated. Placements, color, contrast, utility and tools are a result of interviews conducted with housewives and Star Tyre Chefs across the globe.

The gas is a home grown product. A local find. The cylinder from industrial experts in the West.

It's the proof of real life...whatever you spent to fit a brand new kitchen, it always will end up like that anyway if you're doing some baking... so whatever? It have been designed by real cooks. (People who cares about who they cook for). Even the gas tank and the worktop are coordinated, what could be better...?

A nice one indeed...

Actually, the composition of the photograph is interesting and almost entirely based on the opposition of colors between orange and blue. Well done.

Thank you my friends, Sandrine/Jerome, for stopping by and your kind words.

But Shhh!!, not too loud. I am not supposed to know about art, composition. Opposing colors on a wheel.

As Sandrine said, it is a working kitchen. It is real. Not a work of fiction. Not created for Mental games.

High priests do not approve of such mundane ideas. Heresy!

Fahim,

You are about the last person in the world to claim freedom from education by the myriads of traditions. Who else has travelled and returned to the places we only imagine and actually taken the time to share bread and thoughts? You brains' library shelves are packed with thousands more pictures, customs, motifs and values than you have ever shown. Your mind is therefore the most unvirgin one could imagine! It's impregnated with fore-knowledge of cultural symbols, patterns and esthetic values from diverse traditions.

What about the bright yellow wall thrust from the left! You're the boxer who wham's his opponent 6 ft in the air and says "See how gentle I can be!"

Asher, the yellow is know as the ' dejeuner ' color.

p.s can I call it contrast. Creating tension. The yellow color.

similar to the rhs. I could have taken the photo straight on. But the slight diagonal seemed interesting to me.

I'm fine with it! I just wanted to point out that there's tension there and it works well, the super-saturated colors and angles.
