Pictures without and with ST-E2

I used the ST-E2 and the flash far to the right at some 90 degrees, hand holded by my wife at 2,5 meters from the ground.
The flash was attached to the end of the monop.
The first one is without flash and the second with flash.
The result is subbtle that we can hadly see it is there. I like it ! :)

The same thing here.

The result was previewed and intended !

Nice work, Antonio. That's the idea of using off-camera strobes; put the light where you need it, not where you are.

I like the ST-E2 but generally prefer to use Pocket Wizards. Unlike the ST-E2, which is based on line-of-sight infrared signals, the PWs use radio signals and are not generally interfered by line-of-sight or ambient brightness. Their disadvantage is that, unlike the ST-E2, they cannot control flash exposure.

Have fun experimenting and turning your family and friends into human C-stands!

Very interesting, Antonio, but where is the pair of shots with the finished glass?

I do think the flash is better.

I'd like this more, perhaps with the bacground darker, if possible.

Thank you Ken.
I do know about the Pocket Wizards but we can't have everything in life, so I made up my mind on the ST-E2.
Both need an assistant witch is - sometimes - difficult to get and harder when travelling...
:)
I hope to shoot many nice and pretty photos with the ST-E2.
My next step will probably be a 400 mm and a Mk3 :)
