A short time ago, one of my in-laws and I drove down a few hundred kms to visit my grand uncle. I call
him grandfather..that's what he is to me. Anyway, my in-law and I shared a room. We heard a knock at the door. my cousin in-law must have got up, opened the door and vanished!!

I felt something beating on my foot very lightly. Opened my eyes to see my grandfather and my uncle
standing over me. My grandfather is almost blind. Get up, I heard him say. Time for prayers.
I said half asleep..is it time for morning prayers yet?.. getting up and kissing both their heads.

No, said my grandfather. It is time for Tahajjud ( non-compulsory prayers before the compulsory morning prayers ).
