We have all made mistakes while shooting...All of us and will continue to do so due to being imperfect.......So....This is a thread to post your blunder in.....
I was shooting at night with Jordan then 16 and her friend Jason 19 who he wanted to be a model.I normally do not have additional people on my shoots.......Anyway...I had set up a shot that was just for Jordan near a street light on the side of the main road through this medium size town...Camera was on the tri-pod and i got oh so lazy...This mind you was with my Pentax *ist...I decided to try to adjust the legs down without taking the camera off the tripod just doing it as the tripod was set up....Nooooooooooooooo idea what i was thinking.....I got to the second leg of the tripod, the tripod got off balance the leg i was holding slipped in my hand and down it went lens first into the side walk.....Ummmmmm.....Words i said can not be posted here...
The lens was a loss...But the upside was it was a cheap lens...$100 lens...Which is the same lens i shot those images of mine that were posted with....I had a back up in the car...
I am much much more careful with my K20D and the 2.8 lens i use now....but man that spinning and falling lens first into the side walk was all slow motion.........
So thats my blunder....If it was my 2.8 lens that happened to lol....I'd of been much more upset...The lens actually MIGHT be fixable....
