An attractive image as it has interesting layering of textures and patterns and a wide range of tones. What makes it "pseudo"?

Pseudokarst has much the same physical appearance of karst but is formed by a different geological process.

I think I was a little off my head in naming this one. 
Pseudokarst is a form of karst made from non-soluble rocks but in this case I photographed a compacted ice formation and turned the image into a negative one...I sometimes do these things. Hence my use of the word 'pseudo'.

I suspected you had some trick up your sleeve, but anyway, I had to look up "Kanst"! I thought there was remnants of a spider's web across the center of the layerings, so you had me seduced completely!
That's what a picture should do!
