Any ideas as to how they arrived? The white tailed deer is not in Tin Eye or Yandex data base.

Are these from OPF and I am OPFing in my sleep?

Hi, Asher,

Do things like this ever show up on your waffle iron? On your iWaffeiron?

Best regards,

You iPhone is possessed. Did you know that the iPhone use Unix internally and that Unix systems are full of daemons? Send it to me. I can cast the daemons away and dispose off it properly. I am specially trained to that effect.

As we dont want the daemons to come loose on the way, you'll have to wrap the iPhone in silver paper (real silver, aluminium will not do). Alternatively, you can put some silver objects in the package, like an old watch or a silver ingot, silver coins, etc... Only real silver keeps the daemons at bay.

It was from Antonio Correia, but he hadn’t told me how he did it!

@ Jérôme,

My wife told me Silver won’t do, as the demons, now mutated to daemons-19, have trounced silver, just as it did aluminum a decade ago!

The only remedy is gold with sapphires from the Ten Commandments. She already ordered a costly heavy necklace from a jeweler in Firenze, Italy, (as I noticed the AMEX charge in my bank account), but pretend I don’t know about it.

That’s what a good wife I have.

We have had no additional pictures downloaded since that last frightening set with the deer!

How Antonio did it.

He writes:

“You are in What’spp and I sent the photos from there”

“Previously I sent them from the camera to the iPhone using Wi-Fi “

Is that how it works?

I had no idea one could share like that!

Go figure!

It could put evidence on your phone that you don’t really need, LOL!

Imagine a guy from out of the country could put files on your phone and then report you to the authorities!

A year later, one has no clue who to point a finger at except oneself. I discussed with my wife the real possibility of someone downloading images in a “sleep-working” state at night, without realizing what one was doing!

Revenge porn could flow into one’s phone perhaps with “WhatsApp” and the like!

Yes, Jérôme, these are indeed potentially very bad daemons!

Why "a guy from out of the country" why not your neighbor?

If I remember well, there's a setting in whats'app to authorize registering the photos received into your phone…
If you did so, then you're also the culprit!

Daemon apps do work for 2 reasons:
  • 1 they provide a real help, service, fill a need
  • 2 they take advantage of the naivety of users to obtain information (for resale or malicious use)

So users are also to blame, some apps are no worse than the robots that analyze OPF users' data to compile them with those of other public "places" like Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and other fora) where everyone expresses opinions, political, religious or other ...

Each one of us chooses according to what we believe is good for us, at our own risk. The principle is to be very vigilant about what we communicate. A matter of choice...
We have to be aware that privacy do not exists on the Internet. Teach your kids!

What would that mean, Nicolas?

I don’t understand the term “registering” used in that context!

Do you mean, “permitting g receipt”, perhaps?

I don’t even remember joining Whatsup!

I mean give the authorization for the images to be stored into your iPhone with your other photos (within "Photos").
You needed to join somehow whats'app otherwise nobody can send you message thru this app…
