Quick question about D200 shutter speeds

Every turn of the shutter speed whether up or down, equates to 1 full stop correct?

If you start at 1/125 sec and the next turn sets it to 1/250 sec or 1/60 sec then yes. Otherwise it is probably set to 1/2 or 1/3 stops per step.
