Quiet in New York City

Nick Masson

I recently visited NYC for the first time since childhood. Having grown up on the west coast of the US, I found the New York City pace overwhelming... But a walk through Central Park showed me the other side of life in NYC -- a way to balance and close the loop.

Yes, Nick,

Life in New York moves at a fast pace. Even in the street's. Walk around Manhattan and most folk will as likely as not, overtake you, speeding on to their missions. Then enter Central Park, try to slow down, to a more casual pace and breathe freer! It's hard and some folk cannot escape their drive to get things done, even a walk through the park!

But some know the secret. Just stop and allow everything else to go by.

................ and the rest of New York seems distant for a while.
