Rain, Rain, Rain

Shot just a little before noon CST. The forecast is for five inches of rain between now and Sunday. What fun, eh?

1-1/2 second exposure, F:/32, ISO 100 -2EV through crossing traffic.

Chris,

Folk really get miffed when one stops in mid intersection and then snaps pics. You choose a setting of 1.5 sec, adding insult to injury! must infuriate your companions. I know my family hates me for that, LOL!

I wonder how long you'd dare to drag that shutter to be able to see movement and blur as the cars are coming towards you, so much is superimposed and not seen.

I was across the street under an eave because I didn't want to infuriate anyone and because it was raining cats and dogs. We got over 6 inches of rain today and expect more tomorrow.

I wanted to drag out the time further but don't have a ND filter ring for that lens. I jacked everything around best I could to get what I got.

If I get blur of the oncoming cars through cross traffic, there's going to be a monumental wreck.

I'm on my way back up there in a few minutes to shoot it at night. Whoohoo!
