Every so often check in the mirror that you have not grown breasts as this work is definitely so delicate and feminine.

I salute your creativity.

Try going even further. A taller vase perhaps and even longer more curvaciously swooning stems, and another two fallen petals. Move it to the nth. This is a delight to my eyes!

Oh, Wolfgang, these are so pretty. I love how they have bedhead, like someone with curly hair and when they wake up, their hair is all messy but that's why it looks great. It has such a nice natural feel to it. The image is soft and subtle and the bit of mesh ribbon underneath is a nice touch of red. Maggie

Can you share the background to the mesh? What is it made of and how did the two of you happen to meet?

It is made of very fine fibres, just a decorationmat for tables.
My wife uses it as a mat for vases.
And if you hide the table with a white canvas underneath the mat, the vase and the flowers and place yourself exactly (or nearly so) in front it you can use it as lines or - waves ...

Thanks for sharing! I already use ribbons and gossamer silk, but now, if I may, I will also think of your ideas of more obviously fibrous materials!
