After a night's shooting in New York, the train ride home.
I caught a glimpse of the passenger seated in front of me, reflected in the window.

Well, John, a most fortunate double catch!

If you can do this at the 2cd day of 2011, it's going to be your bumper year! Not just one, but two commuters you in one shot!. The first thinking, perhaps, how to deal with some downturn, the other trying to make the train. Can we make it another time?

A great piece to think about.

Now get some more! :)

Hi Asher, thanks very much!
Truth be told it was taken earlier (exif tells all!)
However, it's a start to become re-motivated.
Thanks for cheering me on!

Very glad to see you post John. I also like the picture. I have been a commuter on similar busses/trains/boats when I was younger and I get the very same feeling back by just looking at this photo. Going back home late, tired, a feeling of loneliness in a crowded carriage with others who are equally isolated on their own islands. Lights passing by in the dark, one wonders what is out there? What is going on in that house with the single light bulb, or in the other or the other...? Somewhere out there, people live, eat, drink, laugh, cry and die. This is pure nostalgia to me....

Cheers,

Ahhh! Great (or slightly left-of-center) minds think alike!
Most often when I'm traveling home late at night I do the same - a bit of voyeuristic window watching. Always wondering what's going on, a peek at a different life or life-style, always curious.
