Resting Wolf

I filled the frame with this shot of a resting wolf in Yellowstone this Wednesday. It would've been better if the head was turned more to the right but I was unable to get out of the car to improve the composition due to park regulations requiring staying at least 100m from a wolf. Canon 1D Mk II N + EF 400mm f/5.6L, 1/1250s @ f/6.3, ISO 250. C&C always welcome.

These hunters do their own thing, Steve! Yes it would be nice if it would turn. He knows the park rules and that humans should be ignored.

I guess it's bad etiquette to clap your hands or yell, "Hey! Look this way, Mr!" How about, "Sir, I need some attitude please! O.K., why don't you just stare at the big tree over my left shoulder and it's a wrap!"

Yep Asher, it is bad form to "call" to an animal to get its attention. A park ranger probably wouldn't take too kindly to it either.
