Davao is one of the territories I'm managing and this gave me the opportunity to discover the beauty that it holds. Every month I'll be showing more of Davao, so i may share with you my experiences of the place.

First, I'm impressed that the Tokina does so well in the beautiful superwide shot, (albeit with the 1.6 multiplier from the 10D). The boat jump out in 3D form.

Have you done any post-processing work to the stonework and steps at the left, the water and the fluffy pillow sky?

Great job!

Asher

BTW, manage? Are you a district officer, envoy or what?

hi asher.

i love my tokina too bad it needs to be replaced with the 17-40 as it cant be used with a full frame camera. As for the left side of the image i didn't do any special processing on that part. it does look soft right? the entire image was done with my usual workflow, no tone mapping, burning done, here.

Nope im not a district officer, or envoy my work just gives me the chance to go around the Philippines. A bit tense but its all good! Heck, I'm enjoying it a lot!

much respect,
karlo
