Fabulous and so pristine and perfect, Doug. Well done! The colors are awesomely beautiful! Somehow a treat for Thanksgiving, far more colorful even than a strutting male turkey!
Except, you didn't kill it! I wonder what Audubon would have done if he had a Leica with a 400 mm lens? would he still have killed such birds to draw them?
...and would there have been an Audubon society to rescue injured wild birds and teach generations about their beauty?
