I really like that. You rarely see flowers photographed from the bottom. I enjoy the tonalities with all the subtle differences in the reds.

These are the leaves, actually. They are red on the bottom and green with white dots on the top. I have the same plant in my office at work (Begonia corallina, also sold as "tamaya").

The brown delicate layer on the stem is interesting to me. I'd look for more angles to see if you can get a good set of such stems.

In a friend's greenhouse where tripod space is minimal...I was far more struck by the veining and red in the leaves than the stalks, but do wish I had a set of extension tubes to get that nice colony of spiders. I'll give that some thought next time I go out there.

Do you happen to have an extension tube so you can get in real close? I have to go and find mine! One buys them and then puts them somewhere! I personally don't use them enough but would come in handy fro those tiny critters.
