That looks like a good sized lake to paddle across, Jarmo. I think the one I like best is the tree in the rain.

Yes, the tree in the rain is great but the feather... is very exquisite with those water ripples.

I do like it very much. The dark blue tone is also great.

Was it on the water, just floating ? Why is the right area of the feather so "destroyed" ?

What you see here in the first picture is a small part of the Saimaa called Joutenvesi. I spent three nights on the lake and covered a total of some 160 kms.

Antonio and Maggie, thank you so much for your kind replies! Antonio, I'm not quite sure what happened to the feather. My guess is it gathered some foam from the waves on the lake.

I've been so lost in processing my own images, but I must say this work is divinely Zen. You've become so philosophical in your attitude..... Very deliberate work but still not clinical as there's such thoughtful adept composition here!
