Hi,

Foreground is good and interesting but there are elements in background which are disturbing me... Burned whites and some faces...

Regards,

Cedric.

Hi Cedric,
Thanks and you are absolutely correct. In my rush to edit the image I focused on the subject, neglecting to see what was happening in the background.
Lesson learned!

Hi John,

Nothing wrong with the picture. Brings back such fond memories of Istanbul.

How's the dumb camera to know better? Just a tad of work: simply blur the background and lighten the shadows in the fellows face. Maybe sharpen his lips, chin and eyes, the strap, cups and the urn.

Wonderful!

Hi John, Asher,

This is way too much fun, LoL. :)

John I have grown up seeing those guys in Istanbul selling drinks, although in my memories they never sold coffee in those contraptions. In the summer it would be sherbet or cold water and in the winter, hot tea.

Thanks so much for sharing this.

Cheers,

Cherry Juice

Outside the Blue Mosque last year the gentleman I shot was selling cherry juice in his dispenser.

Love to see this in color - the clothing so colorful and intereting.
