Hi Dwayne

Another wonderfully atmospheric shot from you, the long shadows and low sun working together beautifully, a lovely gentle dreamy image that invites us to take a walk into the woods.....

Dwayne,

It was so brave of you to frame/crop like that! Did this evolve? That composition works well by really powering the signifcance of the ground where the light is writing it's forrest patterns.

Good capture and composition, Dwayne

it's possible to see it whithout that softness?

Thank you very much for the comments Asher and Michael !

Straight crop right out of the camera Asher.

Not much to look at in the RAW file Michael, I meter (Ev) for
the highlights which makes for underexposed and dark images
untill they go through pp.

Take care,

But you still process as before to get the glowing effect; fitting!

I must commend you then for the bold action in framing like this and developing you concept so well in time to make this possible. Cropping afterwards might have been possible, but here, the position you chose gave the unique perspective that makes the picture work as well as it does. A win for framing creatively!
