Sinner?

Fahim,

Thanks for looking into it.

What I see is a question written on a place. This question can be applied to the anonymous person of who only the legs are visible or to the viewer.

I thought of the first possibility when taking this picture and saw the anonymous person represented by the legs as a surface for projection. The nature of this projection changes when you see different types of clothes and shoes (can you identify with this person or do you see a stranger representing somebody who could fit?).

The second possibility - thanks for bringing it up, it was not that evident in the beginning for me - could be even stronger if there were not legs, but a scene that requires external intervention like a helpless person. This would turn the attention ultimately to the viewer.

What do you see now?

I have to return to that place.

Best regards,
Michael

Michael, I looked at this a few times, hoping for a spark...but nothing. Sorry. Other than coincidence.

Of course we're all sinners, but I wanted to make sense of the three elements together, without forcing.

This seems more like a place to return and wait, hoping a more meaningful connection presents itself.

Graphically, however, I do like the three forms together.

Fahim - somtimes I am carried away by my thoughts and this leads to constellations like this picture. The context for the message is often not that clear, so this explanation should have been there in the beginning.

John - thanks for chiming in. Views and expectations are different, but I certainly plan to go back as this offers many possibilities.

Best regards,
Michael
