Snail Kite......flight shots

Well the Wetlands has been a little crowded the last couple of weeks due to the arrival of this Juvenile (Female) Snail Kite.
Made a quick loop around the Wetlands, didn't take long to spot this hovering raptor! Winds were very strong with the approaching cold front which made some nice flight shots!

These are stunning paintings. Audubon would have shot and killed thousands fewer birds in north America had he your eye, camera and skill! Splendid work!
