People take their pets seriously here in Taiwan.

Little yorkshire in a backpack

Dachundsinboots.jpg

Poor wee daschund in overalls, bootees, and I kid you not (although it is barely visible in the picture) little faux doggie aviator glasses. Why!

I LOVE It

Someone sent me some images of dogs in Halloween Costumes today. I love the Yorkie in a backpack photo. And that Daschund? How can a picture like that not make you smile?

Thanks for posting!

Well, I guess it's OK (and I admit extremely cute), however, I wonder how the dog likes the outfit. I know my two can't stand any kind of cloths. I do think that the little yorkie is very fond of his backpack though.

These are cute. I can't imagine trying to dress up my dog though. She seems fine when I tie a handkerchief around her neck, but I don't thinks she'd like being in clothes. That's probably more because they would get in the way of her trying to play with her ball than anything else though.

Breed and training

I think that it really depends on the dog's temprament and if they were dressed as puppies. My Lhasa won't move if you try to put anything on him but my small Cairn terrier, who is very submissive and clownish, could care less. My husband has basically forbidden any dog clothes on them since they are dogs he says their fur coats will suffice. (lol)

My Cairn was "Toto" in a professional capacity in a theatrical production of Wizard of Oz a few years ago and she had several costume changes so she was trained (by me) to wear them. The green glitter top hat for the scenes in Oz were really cute - but, alas, I never got any pictures of her in that costume.

How ridiculous. Clearly these poor animals are unable to communicate their thoughts on the issue.
If they could speak to their owners obviously they would make know their preference for Versace.
