Fahim,

This is a special and unusual image which fixes our attention. I've seen this before, I'm sure of it! This, despite grainy appearance and loss of detail of skin. But the eyes and lips are there and provide together al that's needed to express human interest. We see beauty and direct eye contact and a wistful smile that, perhaps, indicates reflection and private thoughts. We'd love to know what she's thinking.

Maybe Mark Hampton would say "Purple!"

Fahim, very beautiful, yet her eyes seem like she is holding a sadness that she can't or won't talk about. I want to hug her and tell her that everything will be alright.

Asher, you are correct. I posted a version some time back.

What's she thinking? Of me, of course.

Best regards.

Maggie; thank you very much.

The ' sadness '...pity or anger; usually a reaction when folks look at me. :)

Kindest regards.

Hi Fahim,
great, I love photos which cross the border between still and movement, the border between photo and painting - and this pic does it all. I love it.

Fahim,

the grainy appearance and the bright setting result in a loss of detail that makes it easier for me to see the face in a simpler way. It is a bit like looking through a very thin cloth on a bright day.
It is all there - beauty, expression, an unanswered question?

Thank you - both.

Best regards,
Michael
