I'm so used to seeing your work in color, this is so different. I really like them and especially like the warm blacks. I'm not a big fan of sepia because it always looks vintage, but this tone is something I think feel contemporary and gives humanity to the images.

Thank you Maggie. When I print my blackband whites, I always add a little warmth similar to the Coffee toning.

I especially like the old man and cigarette. I am curious about the edge treatment of these. I always insisted on printing 35mm film images full frame including the edge of the frame and see exactly what I saw in my viewfinder. I hate cropping personally. What did you do here to achieve this effect?

Thank you for your compliment. My film frame borders are either done in camera with the Olympus Art Filter or more often - as is the case with these images - accomplished in Nik Silver Efex and Color Efex software that I use in conjunction woth Adobe Lightroom.
