I shot this image with the camera held down at my side at arms length, naturally held in portrait aspect.

Paul,

This picture immediately catches our attention as before it's fully processed we see a bundle of small figures in the cart, so we get the fleeting impression of kids bundled up for winter in some sort of go-cart! When images have such ambiguity, however transient, the experience is richer as we are allowed, even encourage to fill in the gaps and speculate what's it all about, what is happening and what might happen next.

Now we know what it really is, the initial fun part lingers and we have a good attitude towards this quick snap of a street peddler. The hats, BTW, are interesting in themselves. Only the middle manequin actually can see what's going on.

Both the stallholder and mannequin's gaze are both looking at that potential buyer (?). The stallholders gaze is anticipatory and in my mind I read the same onto the mannequin's gaze, because my eye darts back and forth between the two faces.
I hope i've made sense.

Yeah Asher, that is my username. What have you found out? :D

Yup, that makes sense. It's a hard way to make a living, I guess, but honest!

I like Paul Abbott! I know his work better, LOL!
