Switching… going to 102 Mpix

I shoot digital since the year 2000, and have always will to bring the latest technology to my clients…
Hence from time to time I do have switched from a system to a more advanced one, Nikon then Canon then Pentax and now another one.
Each time I had to change the complete gear body/lenses, each time a serious amount of money, un investment to satisfy my customers.

Here is the first iPhone shots of my new combo received a week ago, in North East Italy, shooting the Bénéteau Grand Trawler 62:

Fujifilm GFX100S. A serious investment indeed - especially with an arsenal of lenses - an processing power to handle those files LOL. Nice Tool for the job. 👊

Thank you @Robert Watcher, this camera is absolutely fabulous! the IQ of the files delivered but also many settings that are new and make the shooting easier…
For now I have the FUJINON GF23mmF4 R LM WR (18 equivalent), FUJIFILM GF 50/3,5 R LM WR, ordered and waiting for delivery of GF 45-100 mm f/4 R LM OIS WR, FUJINON GF120mmF4 R LM OIS WR Macro, FUJINON GF250mmF4 R LM OIS WR, Macro extension tube MCEX-45G WR, FUJINON Teleconverter GF1.4X TC WR
Yes a serious investment!

My 2019 MacBook Pro with 32 Gb of ram, is coughing a bit, but it will have to continue to work some more time!

If I was back in my studio, I’m pretty sure the Fuji would be the camera taking the place of my beloved RZ67. It looks like a great camera. I have always had a fondness for Fuji.

And the end of this 3 days shoot in Monfalcone (Italy), suddenly, during our traditonal dîner (on a terrace!) of the finished shooting , the photographer's Blue Note came to our eyes, all gear were already carefully packed, so I had to use my iPhone:

That was a really gift to me, the sky and the sea saluting my new gear!

I am so happy for you and delighted you took the plunge.

I invested in the GFX50 as the remarkable path forward with lenses designed at the outset with lenses able to resolve over 100MP.

I too only two lenses: the 32-64 mm f4.0 and the 100-200 F4.0

I also have 1 macro ring but no tel extender yet!

Am comfortable with the quality and the ergonomics!

Can’t wait to see your results with the fabulous 23mm f4.0.
