In Perspective, Planet: Teacher gives 17 year old vaccine shot and gets busted!

A New York school teacher with no formal medical qualification has been arrested for allegedly giving a Covid vaccine to a student, say officials.
Police say Laura Russo administered the dose at her home despite having no legal authorisation to give jabs, or consent from the boy's parents.

Ms Russo, 54, who teaches biology, was held on New Year's Eve and could face four years in prison if convicted.
The 17-year-old boy had reportedly wanted the vaccine.

So she wasn’t licensed to give the shot. But she’s an experienced biology teacher so for sure she knows enough.

I have no doubt that she can safely give that shot with both her eyes shut!

Of course she’s not supposed to do what she did,

….but it’s really humorous. The vaccine is safer than eating a McDonals Burger or a Subway Sandwich!

The question should be about the irresponsible parents who hadn’t already vaccinated their 17 year old son!

Of course the teacher should be taken to task, but, after all she did a good job. Even if she gave him 10 doses by error, it would do no harm!

In the old days, the nurse had to pull back on the syringe to make sure the needle wasn’t in a blood vessel. However that good rule was abolished. So it’s highly unlikely that a Biology teacher wouldn’t do a great job!

Kudos to her!

But unfortunately she could end up in jail!
