Somehow, I thought, Rajan, that we had seen this Goan temple before, but maybe it's just the common use of red tiles and red paint and the long form.
I like having the leaves in the foreground, but would have opted for more or none or one up close, important and in perfect detail.
These are interesting in terms of architecture. Have you pictures of the interior? Are these Buddhist?

This is a Hindu temple, of the Goddess Vijayadurga. I don't think I have posted an image of this temple before. You may get a feeling of 'same' because the construction involves the same general principles. The space beneath the tower you see is the sanctum sanctorum, where the deity is seated. The long hall in front of it (to its left in the image) capped with sloping roof is known as the 'mandapa' which is a kind of reception area, where people gather, rest, chat, contemplate etc. At the side are similar holding areas which are sometimes used to house additional deities (other than the main one to whom the temple is dedicated).
Now coming to the image - I had to climb a fence to take this shot and this, to my initial dismay, was the best possible point to frame the temple with the background and angle I thought were optimal. Dismay because there was no way to subdue the foliage which I thought would be a big distraction. But I took the shot anyway. Later on my computer, I was pleased to see that the leaves had come out well-defined and I was no longer dismayed. To get closer to the foliage would have meant me taking a jump of around 8 feet, a prospect my bones wouldn't have enjoyed. The area between me and the foliage you see was more wild foliage - at ground level. I would have lost the vantage of height there.

If you find an interior shot, that would be nice.
Consider extracting the well-defined leaves and up-ressing them in Photoshop and then replacing them so that they are more important!
