The gentle kiss of unbridled love

It is said the God distributed but an insignificant portion of love throughout His creations. A small share
of that is for Raneem: Small in the overall context means everything to the granny..

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh please let that little angel enjoy that as long as humanly possible. We spend the rest of our lives trying to recapture the feeling of that very security. It's beautiful to see.

Fahim,

There's no madonna and child painting I have seen that has more love. This is not a "something" someone imagined. That's the miracle and simple truth of it. This love is inherent in us and we just learn to lock it away. Here we see it as it is without any flourishes. It cannot be improved upon.

But I see a lot more. I also see a woman who has traversed great distances in society and climbed to the heights of Everest and returned without hubris. Her vision, then for her daughter must indeed by splendid.

My wish is that she is able to transfer her insights and advantages of a wider view of society to this precious child. I hope this relationship becomes increasingly strong as this infant grows to childhood, a teenager and then transforms to be an independent and powerful women. I believe with such guidance, she will able to give to society new visions we cannot even imagine.

I wish you joy in documenting this metamorphosis. You have your work cut out for you!

Asher, you have said it all so eloquently that I find myself for a loss of words to pen ( ! ) an
appropriately worded response.

The best I can come up with is ' thank you for your magnanimity '.

Take care.

I cannot speak with Asher eloquence, but although the picture is truly beautiful it is only in that it reflects the love revealed. As you say, a little of God's love shed abroad is sufficient to engulf any one of us. I hope that the safety and peace that Reneem feel in her grandmother's arms remain with her throughout her life.
