Just for Fun No C&C will be given: This Old House

I see this old shack in my travels and stopped once to get some shots. Played with B&W in PS tonight to see what would happen.

Hi Marshall

yes the black and white certainly has a different feel. I have to admit that I find the sky (in particular) too saturated in the colour version, which gives the whole picture more 'pop' than I want.

I hope you don't mind, but I tried a half way house as well - though I'm still not entirely happy with the sky. If you object let me know and I'll take it down.

Best

Mike

No issues Mike, we all have an eye for what we like, I was playing with the original image and pushed the sky a bit (much maybe). I really enjoy a cloud filled sky. Thank you for the input and example, opinions are nothing more than an opportunity to learn.

Marshall,

This is an excellent view you have chosen and successfully captured. The great challenge is how to present it. The over-saturation is a bit much.
