Hi Everyone,

I've been among the missing for while due to some personal issues, but photography is never far from my thoughts. I've been introduced to the concept of contemplative photography and realize that the approach suits me though I'm not a purist about it at least not yet! These have minimal processing as yet, but would welcome comments and critiques as always.

The first one is an interesting composition and is a good example of a work that encourages the viewer to ask them self, “is this a composite or…..oh, I get it, reflections!”). But it cries out for more depth of field.

I like the 2nd one. It may be due to the scale of the image, but the 2nd one appears to that it would benefit by lightened in the shadow area a little. But that may not be the case when seeing it full size. Other than that it’s a very nice composition, another fine example of encouraging the viewer to think it through.

The 4th one is similar to many that I capture but don’t process as for me this kind of capture is difficult to successfully transition from the 3d to the 2d world.

Jean,

The first picture I didn't make contact with. Perhaps later. However these three all seem to have an unusual perspective.

It's as if we have some angel, flying over the planet and taking pictures for us. Maybe these are flying gnomes or butterflies, but this is paranormal!
