Robert,

What length of lens and where are you standing usually?

Asher

For my street work I am using a 14-42 kit lens on my Micro 4/3 cameras. That is equivalent to 28-84mm. Most of the time I am shooting at the wider end of the range at maybe a 28 to 40mm equivalent. For many, I am very close to these people when shooting.

I don't often stand still - unless I am in communication with the person I am photographing. For all of these shots I was on the move, walking toward and past the people. At the most, stopping for a spilt second when people are more static.
