Ridges approach horizontally from both left and right, like the paws of some giant sloth meeting the talons of a prehistoric raptor!

The exaggerated effect on tufts of grasses in the left foreground is one of the great benefits of distortion due to closeness and use of a very wide angle lens. This adds drama to this u tamed natural landscape and gives a strong and enjoyable experience of the place.

The tiny building, almost lost near the horizon, adds a hook to catch our interest and wonder about the lives of those who might live or visit there!

Thanks for sharing your unique vision in this superb landscape picture of the moors. Sherlock, however, (who loved the moors), would discover umpteen clues in one glance that I for sure just miss!

Paul, a very nice rendering of the place. I sometimes feel it is desolate and foreboding..more so with
hound running loose :)

Take care.
