Thank you Bart. Vines are nature's calligraphy to me. Part writing, part imagery. Also vines are quite musical to me. They look like notation for the violins of Vivaldi.

William Blackford Touched

William,

This picture shows a great delicacy and we see that as if the one plant seeks to caress the other. This idea of wanting contact, closeness, sister and brotherhood and even mating is central to human social energy. To see this in a plant suggests to us a simple message, that we too deserve such consideration. I commend you for noticing this effect and urge you to work with the motif in further pictures as there's a lot of potential.

Who else has looked at this in art?

Asher

Asher: Thank you for your gracious comments and I agree with you: There is a world remaining for the lens in the calligraphy of vines. One will be in my next post. I have actually seen wars between them as well. More difficult to capture, to be sure, but I do endeavor. Thank you, again.

Golden: We are here for each other, seems to be the message of this shot. And to quote Peter Gabriel:

The further on I go, oh the less I know
I can find only us breathing
Only us sleeping
Only us dreaming
Only us
