When the travel bug bites and I can not go as I wish I could, to see distant places, I retreat to my little studio and improvise until the longing eased.

A friend asked me to come along to Malawi to document them building a crash for kiddos for three months. Regretfully, as much as I wanted, I could not go there, it would have been a brilliant theme for photography.
