"Who is this fellow?", I asked myself. Then I remembered the great architect Sinan, of Armenian family, who remarkably left a mark on architecture in his over 50 years of service to the Turkish royal state and far longer if one counts his army service.
Remarkable man. No one has surpassed his empirical approach to architecture.

Turkey, Cem, is a country which if one has never visited, in my opinion, has not seen one of the greatest crossroads of human civilization.
Turkey remains the most beautiful vacation destination to this day.
The Selimiye Mosque in Edirne is the best example of Sinan's work that exists. Amazing work by one of the greatest architects then or now.
