Cedric, although its a great idea to document something like this, the focal point and the natural elements in this photo are not strong enough for me. I think the light could have been better, too.
I think B&W would work well for something like this.

On a positive note, the photo does raise questions maybe, about how things are left to grow to enhance austere and urban living environments, suggested by the coppiced trees or shrubs in the lower part of the image.

Hi Cedric,

There's a lot of complexity here. But first, the picture has issues with exposure. The building is too bright and under-saturated. It's really quite handsome when adjusted. At the same time, the right and lower part of the image is way too dark so the plants are in the shadows. Some of them have been butchered. Some are allowed to stay. However, this image departs from your usually clean and simply formed idea-compositions. Maybe if a shorter focal length was used the plants would have been more important in the photograph.

I think that this is the one and only time that I have not understood your work immediately. Is it me or the presentation? Probably a mixture of the two!
