Here is a simple image which, to me, shows the essence of having a summer holiday in Southern France. All the ingredients are there: "Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite", the French flag atop the Maison de Ville, the blue skies, pastel colors and the inevitable baguettes. Of course one can exgegarate this by having the picture of an old man wearing an alpino pet carrying the baguettes instead, LOL. As I do not want to offend our French friends with extreme cliches, I won't do that.

The picture is pristine and so French. The lady with her baguettes is iconic but modern. Usually we see the older guy with a beret hat on one side, carrying his bagette in an alley.

This picture is great. It's bright, perfectly imaged, absolutely symmetrical and ordered and of course has doors!

The girl's shadow looks pregnant so the picture is very organized, reliable, iconic, French, clean and family orientated. That's a well grounded picture to show us.

A beret of course, we the Dutch refer to them as such, lol
