Is there any way i can subscribe to topics to get email notifications when a new post is added?
If not it would be a great functionality to add.

Edit: I wasn't used to how to subscribe to topics, i did end up finding it in the drop down list.

yes you can
go thru "Quick Links" menu to "Edit Opitons" scroll down to "Messaging & Notification" then to "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and make your choice.
