Web hosting for photos

Nicolas raised the issue of paying for web hosting of photos here (http://www.openphotographyforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4615) and that is something I'd like a little more info on. These boards are expensive, and I imagine photo hosting even more so. I'm wondering just how expensive it is? It would be a nice addition to OPF, and I think there are enough committed members that possibly it might be doable. Other boards have a two-tiered membership, for example: Free and paid.

I'm still wet behind the ears here, and I suspect this may have been thoroughly discussed in the past, but to be honest, it's finals week and I'm not inclined to dig and discover that. If it has, Asher, please feel free to delete this.

If it has not, may we discuss how to do this?

I have pretty well decided to work for hosted galleries but to do it well. However, we are dealing with Cem files first, then we'll try some galleries in a test site behind the scenes to work out any bugs.
