I ordered an EF-S 17-55 F/2.8 IS from Amazon UK (they were as cheap as anyone).

The order was placed on Monday and the lens arrived on Wednesday.
Unfortunately it was dreadful - images were blurred and more OOF on one side than the other. I filled in the on-line return form on Wednesday evening and the replacement arrived this morning.

We often complain when things don't go right, but well done to Amazon on this occasion.

I'm so pleased with your experience and this is one of the advantages of amazon. It does deem to force the participants to some rules and quality standards in merchandise. I have always had good luck with my purchases.
